You may wonder why we are asking for personal information instead of just an email address. We use to know every subscriber, in a friendly way 1996 to 2004. A volunteer, before Incorporation said "let's just have email address."

Thousands joined, but god knows who, from god knows where. When they complained we didn’t care. Now we will, with all new subscribers that become members of the Arts Collective.

The newsletters were originally by Michel F. Pare, Queer West’s founder to 1,300 of his friends. Pare owned the paper and was the publisher of The Inside Story a division of Toronto Digital Queeries. He donated the paper to Queer West in Nov 2008 after careful deliberation by the Board of Directors; it became Bent Expressions, a social enterprise in May 2009.

If you don't want to give proper ID, don't subscribe, it’s a simple as that. But if you do know that....

No one has ever received spam from us in 13 years. We won’t knowingly send you porn links. No one will ever see you on our email list. It contains no advertizing. We do have a (Privacy Policy). and you may read our Charter and Bylaws, before deciding if you wish to become a member of one the fastest growing organizations in North America.
