Thompson Hotel. A priceyboutique hotel on 550 Wellington St ikn the Queer West Village. There are few bad reviews on Yelp. Unruly security guards looked like they just finished a shift as a club bouncer and treat guests like club goers. The place is like a frat house with thin walls and heavy slamming doors, you hear doors slamming all night long. Mark S, from Hollywood California said With sweeping views - from Lake Ontario to the skyline - it's hard not to fall in love with Toronto when you visit the rooftop. A walk around the 16th-floor terrace always gives me goosebumps; the full 360 view of Toronto is quite magnificent. GAY MEN'S BATHHOUSE - Central Spa - (C-Spa is the cleanest bathhouse in the city) 1610 Dundas St. West 2nd Floor at Brock, two blocks west of Dufferin northside. 416. 588.6191 15 rooms, 60 lockers regular room See website for prices...First of all, Central Spa is in a very different location than most other gay bathhouses. Rather that being smack dab in the middle of the Church Street area of Toronto, Central Spa is in the West End where an up-and-coming gay district is developing around such great hang-outs as The Beaver and the Garrison. It’s situated right in the heart of little Portugal and not surprizingly gets a lot of guys from the neighbourhood. If you’re looking to meet some guys to hook up with, word on the street is the best time to go is Monday’s in the afternoon. Yes, you read that right. An unknown fact is that a lot of in-the-closet married guys want to get their fix in the afternoon on lunch break when no body else would suspect a thing. Because of this, if you’re looking for a nice, relaxing steam with few folks around, the best time to go is on a Friday night.
